Kiblah’s Genesis
Kiblah’s tale begins with a vibrant past, rooted in a unique foundation set on federal land patents. Pre civil war before the north imposed the blockade preventing the south’s entry to the open seas causing their cotton to rot in the ships and in the fields, The state of Arkansas passed law 151 calling for the removal of all free people of color from its borders or be forced into slavery!!
Upon winning the war and recognizing the danger of a law like 151 happening again, the United States Government established a town by issuing federal land patents to the original settlers who called the town Kiblah, A town destined to stand strong for many more generations!!
A Proud Legacy of Black Ownership
Kiblah proudly carries the torch of black ownership, symbolizing strength and determination. This town is a testament to the vision and hard work of black entrepreneurs and families. What the Kiblah Community Renewal and Historical foundation has done is combine the few patents that are still active into the Kiblah Nation, through research we have found that each and everyone of us are covered under the few existing land patents which means Kiblah is our domicile for voting when we register to vote in Miller County, The assignment of homestead and application numbers will continue until December 8th 2024 at which time we will begin our voter registration in Miller County, we have established residency’s all across the world all the while maintaining our DOMICILE in Kiblah Arkansas and with enough votes we will be able to resurrect the land patents killed by lack of knowledge!!
